A nice vibrant hotel. There was an interesting mix of students that lived in part of the hotel long term and hotel guests. The table tennis tables were a nice addition. We were given a nice room that had a good view!

Good location if you like it quiet. The upgraded room had a very nice lake view, was big enough and came with a nespresso machine and a kettle, 3 tea bags and 4 coffee capsules, and 2 paper cups daily. 1 armchair, a desk and office chair. Big TV screen with lots of channels and Radio stations offered.
Bath has tub and shower tray, hairdryer and shower gel plus shampoo.
Bed is king size.
Westerbroek is only a small village and there isn't much...
Westerbroek is only a small village and there isn't much around the area to go to in the evening unless you have a car and go into the city. This was not a problem for us as we had gone on a biking holiday and was glad to eat in the hotel in the evening which had something for all tastes on a large varied menu the fish sharing dish was excellent. We did bike into the city which had a fantastic market and a dance festival on whilst we were there fantastic music and dance on all street corners.Did when biking come to the village of Noorddijk and saw that there was commonwealth war graves the crew of four very young men who were killed in the 2nd world war when their plane was shot down are laid to rest together a thank you for the well kept graves.
Interior is beautiful…. I would expect a hotel like this to be way more expensive. Super clean. Great food. Flexible, helpful and friendly staff.
We were on a late trip and the kitchen would have closed upon arrival. We ordered food in advance and because the restaurant was closed we had the food in our room.
Highly recommend this hotel :)
Great rooms. Everything was neat and clean and definitely met expectations. It was nice to have a bath in the bathroom as well. The restaurant was also very well kept with very friendly waiting staff. The experience was fantastic overall and in general a must-stay when compared to other hotels.
Bed was very comfortable, luxury bathroom. I love the surroundings, a very nice path next door to go for a walk in nature. More than enough parking. Love the fact that I stayed in another building, I don't like busy/crowded places like a regular hotel.
I like the staff service level. This was not the first time I was here. The previous visit I also noticed the service level. Also the hotel is close to Groningen. Which is ideal for my specific situation.
