Excellent staff and breakfast, adjacent restaurant was of high quality. The equine training and schooling added extra interest, and we were able to keep our two dogs in our car next to the hotel.

I am sorry the area was awful it was above an Indian restaurant and the corridor we had to go through was full of household rubbish and bags that were leaking the stairs were covered in grime and I have already reported on the inadequacies of the room I am trying to get a rebate but I will continue to post negative feedback until somebody contacts me with the view to sorting this out

No idea what the town is like as this was just a convenient overnight stay en route between Bournemouth and Oban. We only visited a local supermarket for fuel: Dumbarton had the best fuel prices seen on our whole trip though.

Some of it especially where the said apartments were was very run down. On the outskirts found a great hotel whose prices compared to the Loch Lomond Apartments was very competitive and offered breakfast, lunch and dinner at very reasonable price. Also room very spacious compared to the Loch Lomond Apartments where we had a king size bed and little other room. Definitely not a place you would want to stay for 4 nights. The name suggested that all rooms were part of an apartment when in fact we have a 10 x 10 room and a cupboard for the bathroom very dingy ad no space to swing a cat. I only weigh 90 kg but totally unsuitable if disabled - cant class as a walk in shower room as requested. Don't be fooled by the word 'close' either. Its not a road where you can park your car - It is a dingy entrance up to the flats above a shop! It reminded my husband of the old tenament properties that he knew as a child. Not recommended at all

Dunbarten has a very useful train station with rides to the Glasgow city center, coming in nearly every 30minutes.
It’s a very peaceful and serene town, with a well patronized shopping center.
Stores like Asda, Argos and Dominoes pizza, help get you covered on food, groceries and household items.
Lovely place, my young son loved it. Communication from the owner was good, I’m sure we would have been able to rate her excellent had we met but entirely understand not seeing people as often as usual under current circumstances. Property had everything we needed, good selection of DVD’s while we chilled out after a few days travelling around Scotland. Very convenient for Dumbarton supermarkets.
Cant fault this property atal, clean tidy, perfect area, really quiet, central to everything we needed, and idea travelling distance to the places where we wanted to visit, we all really enjoyed our stay here and was gutted to be leaving, would deffo stay here again, home from home this little flat, and any questions i had laura answered them, thank you again laura x
While the entrance to the apartment leaves a lot to be desired when inside it has been very well refurbished to a comfortable standard and was very clean. We used this accommodation as a base to explore the area and it is more than suitable for that if you are looking to make breakfast and head off for the day & have somewhere to sleep at night.
The hotel is 15 minutes from the Glasgow airport and it's just off the main road and very easy to get to. The car park is nice and big. The rooms are fair size. The beds are very comfy and linen clean and soft.
The place looks run down but the price for the night is appropriate. I probably wouldn't want to stay more than 1 night
We did not like the place at all and never even stayed there.
The place was advertised as an apartment but it was only a small room with a miserable space like a small cupboard. Not a good area either.
Everything from the awesome view to having a house rather than a hotel for a holiday, everything we needed was in the house, stayed there previously and would stay every time we visit Dumbarton.
Clean comfortable and pleasant little apartment
Well stocked kitchen
Lovely area
Peace and quiet
Horses and cows
A good location for sightseeing
Slept really well
The owner is sweet and helpful
Very comfortable and well equipped. The studio was very well laid out and has good quality fittings. You can walk into Dumbarton along the river and Loch Lomond is a short drive away.
Very clean and comfortable house. The kitchen was equipped with all things needed to make a meal. Wonderful view of the Dumbarton Castle. Very comfortable.
