Kinloch Lodge Hotel and Restaurant is a family-run former 17th-century hunting lodge, situated at the foot of a long private drive up Kinloch Hill on the shoreline of Loch Na Dal.
In a picturesque bay in the south of Skye, this hotel has beautiful views over the Sound of Sleat and the distant hills of Knoydart.

The staff were very pleasant. The dear lady who checked us in(unfortunately forgot her name) was so pleasant. The place had no mobile network and that feeling of being cut off was great especially coming from a busy and bustling city like London.
Everyone at the hotel were informal and the people around seemed warm and felt like a big family.
I highly recommend to stay here for a day or two when on a trip to the Isle of Skye.
Overlooking Bradford Bay, this luxury 4-star hotel is situated in the village of Broadford on the Isle of Skye. Established in 1611, Broadford Hotel is the original home of Drambuie whisky liqueur.
Set in Broadford, 14 km from Kyle of Lochalsh, House of Juniper offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar.

It's potentially a lovely hotel. However, this is not 'luxury' accommodation as advertised. I would say it's more of a Premier Inn set up. We had to go find someone for reception and there is no lounge or bar for guests. Booking the restaurant as a guest ..... we were made to feel like it was a favour to book for a 5pm slot. Food was mediocre at best and over-priced. Breakfast was ok and lovely young woman on duty. We booked a top class room with a sea view - £280. It was in the attic with a tiny window with limited view to the sea. No warning of two flights of steep, shallow stairs. Luxury? Ikea type set up, with large containers of green 'stuff' that is passed off as toiletries. A matter of taste, but what was an old Manse and Church has had the heart ripped out of it. No remnants if it's history or culture.
The Dunollie Hotel has views across the sea to Loch Kishorn and the Applecross Hills. There is complimentary WiFi available in the lounge.

We had a great view of the sea from our window. While we didn't partake, their bar and food looked very inviting. Conveniently situated amongst buildings so that it was close to shops and a market and gas station.
Set in Kyleakin, within 2.9 km of Kyle of Lochalsh and 17 km of Eilean Donan Castle, Isle of Skye Guest House offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for...

The location was stunning and whether you are active, (hiking, cycling, wild swimming, kayaking,...) this was a great luxurious base to return to.
The food was of a very high quality with excellent, cod, scallop and beef cheek dishes all sampled. The wine list was good and extensive though pricey.
I would also recommend a trip to nearby Torabhaig Distillery, closer and easer to book than the much better known Talisker, but do both if you can.

Fantastic hospitality. Wonderful food, staff who can’t do enough and an amazing house situated in stunning surroundings. All that was missing was something comfortable to sit on whilst enjoying the view from our bedroom

The 5 course taster menu is fantastic.
The 5 course taster menu is fantastic. My family ooed and arred as each course arrived. I became aware the the people at the other tables were ooing and arring as well. I wonder if the serving staff ever get bored witb hearing the expressions of delight as the customers proceed through the meal.
Beautiful place in a gorgeous setting. From the moment I checked in, it was a treat. I chose this place because I had never been to the Isle of Skye and wanted to get a taste of the "country life". Kinloch did not disappoint. The grounds and the lodge were beautiful. They had a fire burning in the sitting room(it can get a little chilly when on a misty day).
The food was phenomenal and the staff were friendly and helpful. This is a great place to stay if you want to treat yourself!
We had the most wonderful stay at Kinloch Lodge for our honeymoon. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, they were so welcoming it felt like we were staying with friends. Our room was beautiful overlooking the loch and everything had been thought of to make it a comfortable stay. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and we were so pleased that we chose to eat there on each of the three evenings we were in Skye. Thank you so much and we hope we'll be back again soon!
Upon our 5 pm arrival, we were greeted with a welcome glass of "fizz," which we enjoyed in the comfy sitting room with a cozy fire while our bags were transported to our room. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner in the beautifully appointed formal dining room, and the Lodge's outstanding chef! Breakfast was equally delightful. We loved the tartan room decor and even the bath products! The Kinloch Lodge enjoys a gorgeous setting and lovely grounds.
The property at Kinloch is spectacular! The grounds are gorgeous and the staff is extremely friendly.
From the moment we arrived it felt like we were visiting family we immediately relaxed and enjoyed the views of the loch
Dinner was brilliant as it was delicious and not drawn out too long
Breakfast was perfect
The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was immaculate We will be back!
beautiful location, everything about the hotel was good. Food on the first night was a bit below par which we put down to it being their first night after reopening. Sauces were a bit gloopy and heavy. Second evening was much better and at the level we expected. Perhaps not quite as good as a few years ago when Tully was head chef but still very enjoyable.
Amazing location. Superb service. A particularly highlight is the dining. The chef and his team source high quality local produce which is turn beautifully cooked with the menu changing daily. Add in the high quality wine list and this is a very special experience. A real gem of a hotel.
The location, the buildings, the fittings and history and our room which had a great lochside view.
The food was excellent. The hotel prides itself on the quality of the food and menus offered.
