Let’s start with location - it’s a tale of two cities. If your mission in Poznan is to navigate the city by car, then Mercure hotel offers a sanctuary with ample parking and stress-free access. But if you're dreaming of leisurely strolls in the charming Old Market Square, brace yourself for a bit of a trek, as the hotel stands a considerable distance away.
Five star Sheraton hotel is just a stone’s throw from this place, I often lean towards Mercure for a few practical perks - the expansive space in front of the hotel is a breath of fresh air for anyone who’s battled for a parking spot in a cramped city center. Also price: here you will find a room for twice the price of the hotel next door, and the quality of the rooms does not make much difference. The difference certainly remains in the customer service - at the Sheraton, you just feel like you're in a five-star hotel. Just check what you care about most on any given day.
The hotel itself has seen better days but has been spruced up to meet four-star expectations. The rooms? Decently appointed and spacious, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of urban exploration or business meetings.
As for the service, it's pleasant enough, however, it often hovers closer to a three-star experience, never quite stepping over the threshold into four-star territory - a real pity, considering the potential simmering beneath its surface.
Hotel IOR is located within 300 metres of the Municipal Stadium and a 10-minute drive from the Poznań International Fair. It features spacious rooms with satellite TV. Free WiFi is available.
Hotel Camping Malta is located by the picturesque Lake Malta and offers classically decorated rooms with a TV and free WiFi in public areas.

One of Poland’s oldest cities and a birthplace of the Polish nation, Poznan is the capital city of the Greater Poland (Wielkopolska) region. Famous for international trade fairs, high quality shopping and popular festivals, this city is on the rise!
Its colourful medieval Old Town flourishes with dozens of bars, cafés and pubs open until the early hours of the morning. During warm days, you can sit in one of the pretty beer gardens and admire the architecture and the world going by.
For something different, enjoy Europe’s only steam-hauled passenger train and ride to Greater Poland National Park. Alternatively, visit the reconstructed brewery and indulge in shopping, as the Old Brewery is now one of the world’s best shopping malls.
Poznan lies halfway between Berlin and Warsaw and perfectly combines the old and the new, from Ostrow Tumski with its beautiful St. Peter’s and Paul’s Cathedral, to the glass and steel of Poznan International Fair and the city's skyscrapers.
Booking.com has a wide range of accommodation in Poznan to fit all your needs, from convenient hotels, to stylish apartments and budget hostels. So whenever you happen to arrive at Poznan Lawica Airport, you’re only minutes away from exploring this fascinating city.

Beautiful city for a long weekend of history, architecture, and eating and drinking. We spent a leisurely day each in the old town, cathedral island and the Kaiser's Castle/university area. Lots of green spaces, cafe culture and shopping. Ate at low to mid-priced restaurants and enjoyed every meal.

I haven't been into the city as I was travelling for work and visited locations around Poznan. Major roads are well-kept, but local roads from the highway to smaller cities/villages are in bad condition, but drivable.

Castle was a little disappointing - there was a transgender event the day we visited which was interesting but there seemed to be little of the original (or early) castle to see

We stayed in the main square and it has recently undergone major renovation which means it is really very nice and looked and felt, at times, like being on a film set! Easy to get round the city and we used public transport to visit neighbouring cities and taxis to access slightly further away sites eg cathedral area. Lots of places to eat and not an expensive city - at the moment! Only visited one of the big shopping malls but it was easy to find and lots of good shops , much better than average UK cities! Some of the tourist areas lacked explanations in English but this is evolving.
Location, Lift Parking, Breakfast, service. The hotel is ideally located in the center, walking distance from all attractions, and has an elevator in a private parking for your car (ask Hotel for reservation and give the model and make of your car). The room was simple, clean but had everything you need for a short stay : hair dryer, Ironing, free Wi-Fi. The top was the breakfast buffet with a very large choice.(breakfast included in price). All our questions were answered by a professional staff. If you are next to Poznan, try this hotel.
Location was perfect, a short walk to the city centre/Stary Rynek plus as a bonus I did the Citadel Park, Park Run which was less than 2km away I turned left out of the hotel and walked straight down the road. Piotr the owner is super friendly, helpful and speaks excellent English. You get three keys one to the front door, one to the room and one to your locker in the room so you can come and go as you please. The kitchen is well stocked with tea/coffee etc. There is a fridge and oven etc.
Great fantastic staff. Best features of this hotel.. a clock in the room..great touch! The black out curtains overlap so there’s no gap (great luxury), the desk in the room was set up with outlets for the computer next to the phone, great wifi, great satellite television, great bed. Food at breakfast was top notch. Parking in the cellar was great. Extra step for safety protection with only people with rooms allowed to access the elevator and cameras every where. All well done.
Very friendly and supportive english speaking staff, clean and modern facilities, tea kettle in a room, blackout curtains, central a/c, radiator in the bathroom to dry clothes/towels, excellent buffet breakfast (and restaurant & bar+ concession stand), garage parking below, very close to old town and main square (5-10min walk), zabka (convenience store) literally 10 ft across from the hotel entrance. Has a very small gym in the basement as well.
I travel often, and I have to say this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was very good and the eating area was a very cozy place to be. The hotel is located in a great area - it is a short walk to the historic downtown, public transportation, and restaurants. If I am ever in Poznan again I will definitely stay here! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!
Friendly service by both the reception and restaurant staff. Clean, practical room. Good location in between Poznań Glowny and the city centre. Breakfast buffet was the highlight - awesome spread and far more variety than the usual budget hotel continental breakfast buffets - highly recommend adding it to your stay there!
Great breakfast, wide choice of food, very fresh and nicely presented. Hotel is close to the city centre and shoping center
Superb room quality, caring parking, very good location and friendly staff. There is a coffee machine in the lobby that you can use and there was an unexpected gift from the hotel. Big screen led tv.
Everything was great! We like a lot to stay at Puro’s hotels. Friendly and helpful staff, perfect location, near old town. Very good breakfast with a lot of variety. We will definitely choose this hotel for the next time again. Our compliments to all staff of this hotel, from housekeeping to reception and hospitality.
Everything! The room was brilliant, really clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom had heated floors and the bed was super comfy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect and right in the old town square. The hotel is linked to the Ratuszova restaurant downstairs, one of the best in the city.
Very central location close to all the cool sites in the old town. Walking distance to Cathedral Island and to many great options for eating out. We even had the only Christmas market directly infront of the hotel. Clean rooms, beautiful foyer, nice showers- very nice stay in the best part of Poznań
This apartment was way beyond our expectations! Immaculately clean and comfortable! The hosts thought of everything you may need and topped it off with delicious homemade cakes and cookies! Located directly in "old town/ stare miasto." We stayed all over Poland...this was the BEST!!
I am a returning customer due to the flight connections I need to take and the hotel very close location to the airport. I like the hotel modern and funky deco, spotless cleanliness, quiet rooms, very nice food selection for breakfast and always a very helpful and friendly staff.
The best small boutique hotel I've ever visited so far!
Each room has its own unique design - it was all so well decorated! The location is perferct; parking is not that expensive comparing with other hotels nearby.
Welcome drinks and farewell cookies were quite a surprize)!
The hotel is really modern, great design and location - very near to the old town. The staff is helpful, everyone speaks perfect English, the guys are really friendly! A special thanks for the great breakfast! The best start of the day, really.
Perfect location! In the heart of old town and an easy walk to every part of Poznan. We loved the service and the Italian restaurant attached was also lovely. Very kind staff that set up our taxi to the airport upon departure as well.
This was our absolute favourite hotel in ALL of our Europe stay.
Thank you so much for making our family holiday to Poland the best it could be.
If we could turn back time we would have stayed here longer.
Will definitely be back!!
Absolutely fantastic service I travelled a lot and stayed in many hotels apartments etc but this was just perfect ! If you planning ro visit Poznań you definitely should consider this place to stay !
I really lived this hotel, the room was really good and comfortable. The location is fabulous the airport just cross the street and the staff is super friendly
