The hotel was ok, although only 5 mins from the airport, its very difficult to get there on public transport. Taxi say 27 euros. Hotel was ideally situated for the Airport '6-7 mins' was basic but was clean and tidy. Friendly and helpfull staff on reception. There is a large fridge to enable out of ours drinks etc in reception. Breakfast is provided if you so desire but is not cooked.

Handy for Alicante airport and the city is a short bus ride away. Very close to beaches. El Altet has all the usual necessities…banks, supermarkets, pharmacies, bars, and local people are friendly and helpful. We often stay here on our way to and from the airport.

Very close to the airport for an early flight taxi was ordered by reception we got 4 taxis to and from the airport twice and it varied from 10-80€ to 15.30 € it’s about a 5 minite drive the hotel is basic but clean and at 50€ for a room good good value for money

The hostal is very clean, the cleaning service is great and all the staff is very kind. The beds were comfortable, in the bathroom all worked properly and air conditioner worked well too. Closed to the hostal you can find many shops. Food at the hostal´s reastaurant was delicious. I had a great stay indeed and I will come back to Hostal El Alter in the future.
