Excellent value for money. Location superb for our needs. A place to rest close to the A1 with no noise. Breakfast was great with fresh fruit, fruit juice, plentiful coffee, tea and a cooked to order breakfast. No buffet breakfast here. Messaged ahead to advise the guest house of our late evening arrival time. Was messaged back straight away and they accommodated our request. The service is excellent and the lodge amazing. Far from a sterile, cloned room from a hotel chain.

Everything was very nice at the Newark Lodge. Breakfast was great each morning. The host and hostess helped us with identifying activities during our stay.

Poor service. They mentioned about free sky sports channels, which is entirely false promise . Poor customer care, requested maintenance, no one attended , but received a call after 24 hours. If you request help from maintenance, you will possibly receive a call after you reach your home. The service is poor than a simple low price lodge

the lodge itself was fine , really comfy beds , clean and had all you needed for a weekend stay, was nice and quiet

Good size, everything was spotless, central heating. Kitchen had everting needed, although we mainly used glasses and crockery. Dishwater tablets and washing up liquid was there. There was also some tea bags and 5 and a small amount of long life milk. Lovely position overlooking a strip of forest. Very well positioned for local walks. The children loved the play areas and sports facilities. We travelled with family and we had to lodges next to each other..

For a ibis is was quite nice better than a travel lodge, plus location was 5*

There was plenty to do on site and close to other things if you wanted to explore. The beds were really comfy and the lodges were nice and cosy. The lodes were very clean and had everything you would need. It was great to be able to walk around the farm and see all the animals and feed them.

Loved the log cabin which was exceptionally clean, well equipped and comfortable. Although there are other lodges and cabins nearby we had total privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our short break, the wine and shortbread were also nice touches. We wouldn't hesitate to rebook in the future. Thank you all 🥰

Staff were amazing. We arrived as the hotel was undergoing a major refurbishment. Room was clean but dated. Paid more and got less in some travel lodges.

Loved the lodges, very high spec but comfortable and practical, great for entertaining and lots of outdoor dining space with privacy and lovely surroundings, fantastic enclosed play area and games room, riding school on site with very friendly staff.
