I've been visiting Bad Hofgastein for 12 years in the summer holiday, and with every visit it gets a bigger space in my heart. Plenty of memories, plenty of relaxation, plenty of beautiful and peaceful sceneries, and every year people are being nicer and sweeter. We visited the thermal pool, the minimum stay is 4 hours, which is probably little bit too long, but the water was nice and warm, outdoor pool with a mountain view. Shops available. Petrol station available. Skilift right at the center. It’s nice little town.
It’s nice little town. If you like skiing and bathing in one of spa areas, then you will enjoy. Not lot of restaurants and good ones are always reserved so you need to prebook if you want to have lunch or dinner. The thermal baths are fantastic. Extremely beneficial and beautiful for your body, along with dry sauna and steam room. The view from the pool was breathtaking. Very good amenities. The town center is very very charming and quaint A wonderful destinationAAnonymous - 10Scored 10

It wasn't good · I was looking for dog-friendly accommodation, I wanted to relax, spend 2 quiet nights, but there weren't too many appreciable positives, it probably nuances things a bit, that's what happened. My dog is 9 months old, going to school, this has never happened before at home and in other environments, but when I left the room he chewed on the leg of the chair. The photos I attached show how much. It was probably a new place for him and that’s why it happened. I also immediately received the email that damage had occurred, the invoice was sent. I also attached the invoice to the photos. They sent me an invoice for € 162.80 and asked if they could deduct it from my credit card. I wrote to agree on an amount, I’m very happy to pay, but that’s maybe a little much. Then the next day I noticed that the amount had been deducted from my bank account without my permission. Anyone who wants to go with a dog, I don’t think so, because it can happen at any time. But I don't recommend the hotel even without a dog. Disgusting attitude!

The view from the balcony is probably worth the fee alone. In the morning, when the town is covered in mist and the sun is just about to come out, it is pure magic. The location is easy to reach, just 5 minutes from Bad Hofgastein by car. The room is not luxurious but is clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was simple but very tasty, with homemade products like butter and jam. We had a hard time leaving after a 2-nights stay.PetrCzech Republic

The location also is great, one of the closest hotels to the main lift for the skiers in our group. The staff was very helpful as well, especially as we dealt with a ski injury for one member of our party. The town is also behind the hotel, but a lovely Alpine resort with good facilities, especially the thermal baths, as easy walk from the hotel.

Rooms are very large, restaurant has space for many guests, breakfast is above expectations comparing to other hotels we stayed in Austria. I like that the hotel has a free underground parking, which is indeed a great bonus in a winter time, especially during snowfalls.
