Let me tell you something about this hotel, I had a tiny heart break when I had to check out, this hotel is what made my trip perfect, from the spacious room, to the toasty temperature at the room, to the spotless bathroom. The bathroom, oh my lord, modern, hip, beautiful with the perfect lighting. Heads-up, you will be addicted to their bed.. i needed a miracle to wake up in the morining. Mrs Jaqueline and Tommy are one of the most helpful, accommodating, tolerant, and wonderful people in the whole town! The breakfast is delicious and their bread is so fresh.

We were greeted by Lorenzo on arrival to Hallstatt and guided up to this stunning property. Lorenzo took the time to show us around and educate us on the history of his home. He was so pleasant and warm, and it made us feel right at home.
The property itself is magnificent. The photos simply don't do it justice. It truly feels like living history. The bathroom is so beautiful, and the beds were some of the comfiest I have slept in whilst being in Europe! The French linen made us want to buy some to take home to Australia!
The location was in the centre of the town, close to everything, yet very quiet. We were lucky enough to see some snow before we left, which made Hallstatt look even more magical.
We felt very lucky to experience Hallstatt and retire to such a beautiful home each night.

One of most beautiful village in the world. It is just 2 hours plus away from Salzburg. You can plan a day trip. You will get best scenery and it is like childhood fairy tale place. I must praise I have a good dining experience in Simple 169. The owner is so friendly and food is good. Preferable if you can spend one night with light luggage. So that you can take photo with less crowded moment and take an unforgettable 7000 year old salt mine tour plus skywalk visit.

Loved the amazing views around Hallstatt. The salt mine tour is definitely worth it. The views from above are just spectacular overlooking the mountains, town and the lake. Just strolling through the streets everything was so quaint and beautiful. A visit to the church and bone haus is a must its amazing to learn the history.

A beautiful enchanting fairy tale town.
A beautiful enchanting fairy tale town. Set on a lake framed by mountains.
It is very small easily done in a day or 2.
The food is delicious and reasonably priced
Salt mines worth doing 100% but give yourself a few hours as so much to see at the top!
Only down side shops and cafes open late … 10-10.30 am and close around 6.30-7 in the winter we got caught out with nowhere to eat or nothing to do in the evenings

A perfect place to visit with family.
A perfect place to visit with family.
Beautiful lake, landscapes views, snowy mountains and salt mine tour.
Hallstatt is really small and can be walked around comfortably.
Connectivity with Salzburg is easy by bug #150, 542 and 543 in around 2.5 hours.
Tip : Hallstatt old town is costly, relatively cheaper accommodation can be availed in nearby places like Obertraun.

Hallstatt is completely overrun by daytime tourists who just want the quintessential photo of the town. I could have had the same mountain lake experience by staying in a nearby town (and then not having to leave my car in P1 parking then being shuttled to the town).

WAY too many tourists!
WAY too many tourists! Hard to walk around and also find a spot to eat! One night is plenty! Gorgeous town though and easy to get around. A lot of day trippers that once their buses left, the crowds cleared out tremendously.
Our stay at Ida Mitt Hotel in Hallstatt left us thoroughly impressed. The owner and staff went above and beyond to assist us, ensuring our comfort throughout. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a delightful start to our days. The room's spaciousness and charming decor added to the hotel's appeal. Its central location in the heart of town made exploring Hallstatt incredibly convenient. Overall, Ida Mitt Hotel surpassed our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting this enchanting destination.
The hotel is in the center of Hallstatt, 100 meters from the ferry pier connecting to the railway station across the lake.
The room we stayed in, on the 2nd floor, had a balcony overlooking the lake with a table and two chairs. The room was cozy but somewhat cluttered, with too much furniture for the available space. The wi-fi connection worked without problems. The room was quiet, with no noise coming from the other rooms.
The breakfast was varied, and the service was friendly and attentive.
There's no better place to stay in Hallstatt other than Seehotel. We booked the room with lake view and a balcony that I could just live there. It felt like I was on a fairy tale.
Very comfortable bed (not too soft), the bathroom, amenities and bathtub were also great. The room also had mini bar, nespresso machine and tea bags.
The Breakfast has many and very good options. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was good (but nothing especial).
The view and the people. Superb view + Staffs are friendly and nice especially in a highly-commercialized tourist place like Hallstatt. We booked two nights there but at different room; the staff rushed the cleaning for us so we can shift to another room quickly. Really thanked for the kind gesture. See cafe just next to the apartment. Staffs with smile. I had my breakfast and lunch there👍🏻. The apartment is not far from bus stop
Pros: The room was quite clean. The breakfast was one of the best I have had on this trip and I backpacked across Austria for more than two weeks. A good variety of breads, fruits, meat cuts, cereals to choose from. But that was not even the best part about my stay. The lake view is to die for! If you can, do of course get yourself a room with lake view. Will not regret.
The best place to stay and enjoy Hallstatt. Everything about this place is just awesome. Nice new hotel with the best view of Hallstätter See. Big enough parking space. Private entrance and sitting area by the Hallstätter See. Breakfast is served in your room so that you can enjoy breakfast with the fabulous view of the lake and mountains.
A great place to stay and it didn't really break the bank as hotels in Hallstatt can be pretty expensive. I had a mountain view too and it was the best one night stay I've had recently. Great host, nice breakfast, very clean and comfortable place, very well managed. Will definitely go back again if I'm in Hallstatt.
The location is amazing, right next to the port. The staff were nice and the room is a standard 4-star hotel room with all the necessities. It is not easy to visit Hallstatt within one day by public transport, so staying a nice and chic hotel really helped to explore the beauty of the town.
Although decor is rather dated, the hotel is kept in very good condition.
Good value by Hallstatt standards.
Excellent breakfast with wide selection of delicious cold meats, etc. Dinner was also good and reasonable value.
Our room, 31, had attractive distant views of lake and mountains.
- The location of the property is great. It’s only a few meters in from where the bus stop is.
- The hotel is just few meters away from the Hallstatt funicular which takes to a viewing platform and Salzwelten Hallstatt above.
- The room was decent, had balcony with views of the mountains.
The hotel is more than we expected. It is in the center of Hallstatt. There is lift and automatic door upstair. Breakfast is full of items. Room is very clean and big size so that my mom ask they give us wrong room or not. View from my room is the best view so far, I love the balcony 😊
One the best hotel in the town, and everything was on the top (location, room size, great breakfast at the balcony)
A lady who is working in the front desk is very respectful and cooperative.
i would recommend to everyone who is going to visit Hallstatt to reserve in this hotel.
This beautiful and cozy Austrian-style house was situated in the center of Hallstatt and had amazing views of the lake from all of the rooms. The house was big and spacious, and was the perfect spot for our family to spend the winter vacation!
The hotel was amazing and outstanding ❤️ I really enjoyed the time spent there its very relaxing with a an amazing view of the lake. I would totally recommend its in the centre of Hallstatt and just 2-5 minutes walk from the ferry.
The hotel is just off the ferry pier and on the Main Street, so very easy to walk to the town center of Hallstatt. The host was really kind. The room is well
decorated and spacious.
The location is superb, just a few minutes away from the ferry pier. Though the room is a bit tight for 3 people, its terrace facing the Hallstatt lake wins the best price.
The hotel I stayed at in Hallstatt left an unforgettable impression, offering a delectable breakfast, attentive service, and a breathtaking view from the window.
