Had such a lovely time at the Old ferry inn. The owner is really welcoming and friendly, and The pub has a wonderful traditional feel to it. Rooms were lovely, breakfast was amazing, and it was just a short ferry ride to Fowey.

Harbour Hotel Fowey, hotel in Tywardreath

Set in beautifully landscaped gardens, right by the water's edge, the award-winning Harbour Hotel Fowey has a scenic and peaceful location.

We checked in early evening to this lovely hotel with an exceptional view of the Fowey harbour. They were able to accommodate us for dinner at short notice, and had great service and food. As we hadn't prebooked so we had to park the car in the public parking down the road and walk back, but honestly no issue. The room was very clean and definitely satisfied our needs. I have to comment on the receptionist as she was so friendly and helpful.

We were only at the house for 2 nights, but we managed a visit to The NEW INN PUB, which was just down the road. The food was excellent, and very reasonably priced. The house lived up to its Quirky name, very clean and tidy. Would stay there again anytime.

Just had a very enjoyable week at Bluebell Cottage.

Just had a very enjoyable week at Bluebell Cottage. The property was immaculate, very well equipped and much of the furniture and the kitchen seems to be brand new. Tywardreath village is a good location. Whilst supermarkets are close by at St Austell TBH we could have provisioned the whole week from the village store and butcher. Prices very competitive. Shop, pub, Thai and fish and chip takeaway a few minutes walk away. Pub food restaurant quality. The garden is on several levels with steps and very nice. The main rear garden catches the evening sun so ideal for a wine at the end of the day. There is a security deposit to pay but we left all in good order and it was returned within 24 hours.
