This hotel in Berlin lies directly beside the historic Tempelhof Airport, a 12-minute underground train journey from Checkpoint Charlie. Facilities were good but the staff was very helpful and available 24/7 at the front desk with a nice bar to come back to and have a drink to end the night.

The washing machine was a nice bonus. Also having a bath tub was very nice. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary utensils and appliances. The location was very good for all tourist activities.

This was a lovely place to stay for a short city break in Berlin. It’s well equipped and very stylish. It’s a short trip on the U-bahn south of the main city but it’s an easy trip to make and you have a good balance between feeling like you’re in a city but also having a little greenery around and feeling you’re in a less touristy area. The host was helpful and on hand if needed.

Quietly located in the Tempelhof neighbourhood of Berlin, Pension Friedrich-Wilhelm offers self-catering rooms with a garden and free WiFi hotspot access throughout. Lovely, spacious accomodation in a quiet neigborhood just south of Tempelhofer Feld. Ideal if you want to get out of the city for a good night's sleep. Friendly staff, clean room, superb! There was also a nice seating area out front. Ideal for coffee and breakfast.
