It sits on a quiet tree-lined street which is part of NYC's Open Street trial scheme of streets that are only open to pedestrian traffic on certain days. The location is excellent for visiting museums on the Museum Mile. The Met, Guggenheim, Neue Galerie and Design Museum are all within a forty-minute leisurely stroll through Central Park. Make sure to check out the scenic Loch Walking Path on your way, it runs long a crick in the wilder, denser part of the park.
