Very clean and spacious, attractive room, huge comfortable bed with good quality bed linen, big TV, spacious bathroom, large shower cubicle and great towels, first meal in the restaurant was delicious (beef bourguignon), good local ale at a reasonable price, breakfast was mixed but full English was very good. Dark haired lady on duty on our first night was lovely, friendly and very professional (apologies for not having a name). Contact via the app was good and the code access worked well. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful and comfortable rooms, very cosy place to spend a rainy evening. Really excellent food at the restaurant and the breakfast was amazing! We stopped for one night to break up the drive from Scotland and I wish we could have stayed longer, will definitely be back.

The Crown and Cushion Appleby is situated in the market square in the centre of Appleby and features a restaurant, tea-room and bar. Staff where amazing and friendly. Room was comfortable and breakfast was 10 out of 10.

Built around 1590 as a miner's cottage known as 'Dove Cottage', The Langstrath Country Inn is a small family-run property offering accommodation in Stonethwaite. Parking is available. Amazing location, very friendly staff and super food. With many just having a drink after walking the fells, we felt quite privileged to be staying here

Located in Barrow-in-Furness, Ormsgill Inn features free WiFi access and free private parking. Guests can enjoy a drink at the on-site bar, as well as the pool table and darts board. We stayed here for 11 nights. We have enjoyed the area; discovered the nature reserves along the coast line, the mosses and the hills and lakes of the closeby Lake District. The variation of landscapes in one area is unique. Every day we started with a tradional English breakfast and finished most days with a beer in the pub. There is an enclosed car-park as you need a car around here. There is wide range of restaurants in the city center. Lynn and Jim are enjoying running their Inn.

The rooms were quite spacious, staff were wonderful, rooms and facilities were very clean and would definitely come back and recommend to anyone visiting Lake District

Terletak di Levens, 18km dari World of Beatrix Potter, The Hare and Hounds, Levens mempunyai penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi percuma, teres dan restoran. Only problem was we didn't have long enough here so are going to have to re visit. Stayed here but wedding at villa Leven's. Rooms/staff/Breakfast first classing. Nothing not to like thanks
