Crown and Anchor features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Marlborough. This 4-star hotel offers free WiFi. Stonehenge is 39 km away and Lydiard Park is 43 km from the hotel. Staff were so friendly & a special mention to Ben the manager & Lillie & Bea, who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. As a former Hampshire lady myself now living in Denmark, it was so exciting to bring my Danish husband to Wiltshire, a county he hadn’t seen before. The village is so pretty~ it’s a little tricky to get to with all the tiny country roads, but once you find the village you’ve found a little gem in the Wiltshire countryside! Dinner and breakfast were delicious too!
